Why dA Keeps Me Coming Back

Journal Entry: Thu Nov 5, 2009, 7:06 PM
50,000 caught by ~Velveteen-Violinist [link]
55,555 caught by *Goldy-Gry [link]

Next Kiribans at 66666, 77777, 88888, 100,000. Keep an Eye out! You could win one charcoal/pastel portrait of your choice.

Please note: if you've already caught one of my kiribans, you cannot win another. It's only fair. So don't try. :nana:

Hey everyone! :iconwavesplz:

I am not the bubbliest of people. I tend towards the melancholy and am predisposed to depression. But on dA I find a little bit of beauty, happiness, laughter, friendship. It may seem strange to have connections to people I've never met face to face, but in reality it isn't.

It would be hard to just walk away. I suppose that's why I find all the I'm leaving forevah drama so entertaining. And boy does dA offer its share of entertaining drama. That, however, is a topic for another time.

Today someone did something nice for me, unasked for. It really made my day. :aww:

So I want you guys to go check out :icontwistedangel9: ~twistedangel9's site. :D He's a really sweet guy who doesn't get that much traffic. So go say hello and check out his gallery. Here's some thumbs as preview:

And I want everyone of my watchers who reads this to send me the links of five of their works so I can add them to my "My Watchers' Best" collection, which I'm going to showcase on my profile. :huggle:

In other news, I started up the Secret Santas over at =DisneyDreamers, and although it's a ton of work, it's so fun to see how excited people are about it. I sent the journal out like 6 hours ago and have already gotten 40 participants. :O_o: People sure love secret santas.

My temp job is about over, so it's time to search for another job. Maybe I can get on at the hospital my aunt works at. :fingerscrossed: I just need to get caught up on all my bills. The job at the halloween store was indeed a lot of fun. It's too bad it's not a permanent costume shop. I'd love working at a costume shop.

We had a fun Halloween albeit a cold one. I went home on Thursday and had a busy weekend. We went out to eat three times! Mom and I went down to White House Fruit Farms for a bushel of apples and chocolates. Yum! So it was a good weekend.

So anyhoo, feeling chipper tonight. Which reminds me, someone a few weeks back, in the complaints forum (man I love the complaints forum), that if one is depressed one must express it in one's art. My gallery is soooo depressing right?

And I promise I am slowly getting caught up. I'm actually up to the last week of September for my watch! :paranoid: And I've only got about 200 journals to read. Plus almost 7000 deviations and another 250 journals over on my stock site! I'm not behind at all! :lmao:
