Ichimaru Gin. One of the bad guys of Bleach. He usually gives everyone the willies, except for one character, a rather buxom lady he's been friends with since childhood. He only looks at her like this. Otherwise he's got the creepiest closed-eyes smile you've ever seen. Creepy...

He could be trying to kill you... creepy smile. He could be teasing you... creepy smile... he could be having a really bad day... creepy smile. I think I shall make an emote of him, and I will base it off this guy

But I like him when he really smiles. Especially because it's not particularly clear what the hell he's up to in the Bleach universe, or why he's even helping the primary bad guy. What, exactly is in it for him? Who the hell knows. That, of course, is what makes him infinitely interesting as a character. Time for this one is hard, because I finally got around to documenting my process, so I can make a tutorial on my charcoal technique. So, um, around 4 hours, with many breaks to take pictures and such. Probably only around 2 or so hours of actual work. He was pretty quick.

Method: Charcoal Reduction
Materials: 80lb drawing paper, 4B condensed black charcoal, 2B condensed white charcoal, medium black vine charcoal, white charcoal pencil, pink pearl plastic eraser, kneaded rubber eraser, fingers for blending and smudging, Lava brand soap for clean-up
