This is a drop ride - you sit in harnessed in a chair and are taken up to the top and dropped. Pretty much the shortest ride at the fair, and in my own opinion not really worth the bother, since it isn't really high enough to get a good thrill out of (similar permanent rides at Kennywood and Cedar Point are 300 feet tall - the one at Kennywood is crazy because it's right next to the cliff that leads down to the river, so when you're up top you seem to be twice as high, and the one at Cedar Point has an option for a side that shoots you up instead of just dropping you, which is a far superior thrill.)

Anyhoo, mom was trying to catch this one as it dropped so I set up the tripod next to her and tried my own luck, and caught it.
